Beard of Action: Ernest Miller Hemingway

Hemingway Beard
Few men have realized the adventurer’s archetype as fully as Hemingway and lived to write about it.  From Paris to Cuba, and all ports in between, his was an epic odyssey of safaris, plane crashes and spouses.  In life, the fecundity of Hemingway’s chin was matched only by the prolificness of his pen; and thus, we leave you with a bit of wisdom by this Beard of Action which is oft heard echoing in the halls of the Center for Beard Related Studies:

“The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places.”
